We are a family run florist searching for a skilled and enthusiastic florist to join our team. Our ideal candidate should be experienced, possess a creative eye, a positive "can-do" attitude, and a passion for growing the business with us.

The working day is from 9:30/10am - 6/6:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

Create beautiful floral arrangements with proficiency and speed
Manage and maintain the appearance of the shop, including stripping, stocking and processing flowers/orders
Respond to event, contract, and wedding inquiries via phone or email
Use good judgement to maximize design impact while maintaining cost-effectiveness
Sell products with confidence and ensure stock rotation
Provide exceptional support to fellow staff members
Stay informed about the latest floral trends and seasonal offerings
Offer new ideas and designs with confidence
Communicate effectively with customers and team members, using excellent written and verbal English
Provide training to new staff members

Requirements:

Proven experience as a florist, with a deep understanding of flowers and floristry techniques
Ability to do dome style bouquets. Not just wild
A good level of English
Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality and design
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to listen and respond to customer needs
Good computer literacy and organizational skills
Ability to communicate clearly, plan accurately, and demonstrate a strong sense of duty of care
A friendly, approachable personality with a sense of humor
Previous retail experience (essential)
