About the role
You will work as part of a team to provide secretarial and administrative support to the Council’s Leadership Team and the Leader of the Council (if required), in accordance with the Council’s Member-Officer Protocol, ensuring that a consistent and proactive service is provided.
This is a part time, 30 hours a week role ideally worked over 5 days a week.
About you
We are looking for someone who has excellent organisational skills and a ‘can do’ approach, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.
You will need to be able to communicate in a clear, concise and diplomatic manner with councillors, officers at all levels and with members of the public.
Do you already have experience of working as a secretary or Personal / Executive Assistant at senior management level? Do you enjoy working in a team?
