The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Southampton area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.
Hours: Monday to Sunday- shifts will be 5 out of 7 a week (weekends included) on a rota basis.
16:00pm - 22:00pm starts
Pay Rate: £14.46 (before 18:00pm) - £16.09 (after 18:00pm) per hour PAYE
Location: Southampton, SO16

The role:
· Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
· Handling runs with 4-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
· Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle.
· Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
· 40 hour workweeks for full time positions but flexible contracts are an option.
Requirements:
· Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
· Full understanding of WTD legislation.
· Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
· Excellent communication skills.
· A safety-first mindset.
