We are seeking a reliable and skilled Grab Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting aggregates safely and efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of vehicle operation, and the ability to navigate various routes.
Duties
- Operate 32 tonne CLAM SHELL grab lorry, for the delivery and collection of aggregates.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of aggregates in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with office, yard staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients upon delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience with grab lorry ESSENTIAL!
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks is desirable.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers alike.
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN CLAM SHELL GRAB AND HAVE VALID CLAM SHELL TICKET
