We are seeking a Class 1 (Class CE) Night Trunk Driver to join our existing team based at our depot in Totton. We are a family run company who prides itself on our relationships with staff and customers alike.
Main responsibilities:
- Collecting freight from the Totton depot in an evening and delivering it to the hub in Midlands and awaiting a return load to return to Totton.
- Being accountable for the safe and timely delivery of goods on the double deck trailer
- Perform daily checks on the vehicle and trailer and keep the vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness
Key Skills and Experience:
- Hold a full up to date Drivers CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Hold a full Class 1 licence (with at least 6 months’ UK driving experience)
- Have no more than 6 points on your licence (no DR, DD or IN codes)
- Good communication
