SEAFAST ARE LOOKING FOR HGV CLASS 1 DRIVERS TO JOIN THEIR EXPANDING, FAMILY FRIENDLY FIRM.
Essentials:
- HGV class 1 experience.
- Valid CPC and Digi card.
- Full UK driving licence, with less than 6 points.
- A DPWS card is preferable, but not essential.
The role:
- Full time, permanent role.
- Round trips to and from Marchwood, Southampton. Delivering customer products to locations, within the UK, at a time specified by the customer.
- Early starts and occasional nights out are required.
- NO TRAMPING
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles to designated locations.
- Ensure compliance with all driving regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and functionality.
- Deliver goods efficiently while adhering to scheduled timelines.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
