Core Responsibility: To supervise, inspire and interact with children (3 weeks – 5 years old) in nursery settings, whilst ensuring their safety at all times.
Salary Bandings:
Unqualified: £11.50 - £12.50 (£23,920 - £26,000)
Level 2 & Above: £12.50 - £14.50 (£26,000 - £30,160)
Please note: You must be willing to travel to multiple nursery settings within the advertised area and we are not currently offering school hours.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children
- To be counted in ratio under Ofsted regulations, all candidates must be aged 17 or over
- A Certificate to verify Early Years Qualification (if applicable)
- Be willing to travel to multiple nursery settings within your area
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and interact with children, ensuring their safety at all times
- Engage with children in learning and play activities, encouraging EYFS development
- Facilitate indoor and outdoor play activities to promote positive wellbeing
- Support the larger team with essential daily tasks i.e. room preparation & hygiene standards
- Follow safeguarding polices in line with the EYFS to ensure child welfare & protection
- Help to ensure a safe, secure and fun environment for all children
