Start times: 5-7 am starts
Block Booked (Monday- Friday) with Weekend Availability
DP world driver Card is preferred but can be obtained through the Company.
What you will be asked to do:
- Collect and Deliver containers in and out of the Southampton Port
- Moving Containers to different locations
- Experience in driving containers is needed.
- 2 years of Experience in Driving class 1 is needed.
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over short and long distances while adhering to safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Drive vehicles, including lorries, to deliver goods to various locations
- Load and unload cargo
- Follow traffic laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and promptly
Qualifications
- Hold a valid Commercial Driving Licence (CDL)
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines
